Call for accomplished classroom geography teachers
Nomination of teachers in metropolitan and non-metropolitan schools in NSW and SA are sought.
An important new research project is being undertaken to develop professional standards for the teaching of Geography. This will be administered through The University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Education and funded through an Australian Research Council Linkages grant in partnership with the Australian Geography Teachers’ Association, the Geography Teachers’ Association of Victoria and the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
