1. Spatialworlds blog

The Spatial worlds blogspot is a blog developed by Malcolm McInerney (AGTA Chair) as a repository for ideas, images, weblinks and discussion on all things spatial.  Click here to go to the Spatialworlds blog if you wish to read and contribute to this blog venture.

2. Mind's Wonderings: Education and Technology blog

Rebecca Nicholas (Victorian geography teacher and AGTA Secretary) has decided that it is not hard to be enthusiastic about the developments in technology and the applications these have on education and teaching. Each new development sends her mind wandering and wondering about how she can use this to teach her kids to enhance their learning? Such musing has resulted in her Wondering minds blog at http://mindswonderings.blogspot.com/

3. The Erebus International report into the “Teaching of geography from Years 3-10”

was released on April 7th, 2008. The 102 report provides some informative reading for geographer’s interested in the future of geography in Australia.  The Spatial Science Institute's Spatial Education Advisory Committee (AGTA is a member of SEAC) and the GTASA made a submission to the Erebus report during August 2007.

4. GeoCareers website

Rob Berry, the web manager of the AGTA website has done a great job in putting together the GeoCareers website. The site is a very 'user friendly' and useful site for learning about geographical careers.  The GeoCareers website contains resource links and case studies of young people who have done geography at school and see a link between what they learnt in geography and what they do in their job.  A great site to pass on to the career counsellor/s and subject/career selection personnel in your school
The site is:
