The VET initiative

In 2004 the GTASA in collaboration with O'Halloran Hill TAFE initiated the Certificate 2 VET course in Spatial Information Services.  The GTASA sees this VET initiative as an important vocational link for geography.  After participating in the GTASA VET teacher training in 2004 at Findon High School teachers of Stage 1 Geography are now able to award Vet modules to their students.  The attached article gives an insight into this great initiative which we hope continues to grow geography in South Australia in the future.
