SOUTH AUSTRALIAN GEOGRAPHY PHOTO COMPETITION 2022 (2).png

The South Australian Geography Photo Competition 2026 invites students in Years 7-9 to submit one photo which they took themselves in South Australia, alongside a caption (max. 100 words) which describes the photo and its connection to the theme.

South Australia is changing. Our State’s population is expected to increase by about 20% between 2021 and 2051. By then there will be a higher proportion of older people than at any point in our history. Projected changes to temperatures and rainfall will impact our coasts, rivers, communities and businesses. Planning is under way to meet future infrastructure, services and housing needs, whilst also protecting environments. Students are invited to capture how SA is preparing its people, places and/or environments for change.
